RELAX WITH FLOATING LIGHT: COMMUNAL AREAS

Situation

Relax, re-energise and come up with new ideas: Communal areas in offices should enhance quality of life, improve communication and, ideally, unleash creativity. An important contribution to this is made by large windows, aesthetic interior design and, of course, atmospheric lighting, ideally controlled in an energy-efficient manner using intelligent presence detectors. The lighting should also be controlled in a way that allows flexible adjustment to suit different room uses.

Solution

LIGHT CONTROL WITH FLEXIBLE SWITCHING OF GROUPS

SVENJA luminaires appear to float just below the ceiling and create the right room atmosphere. Elegant BMS presence detectors from the FLAT series for DALI-2 harmoniously blend in and enable energy-efficient light control via the APC presence detector in the corridor. Switching of groups enables flexible use of rooms: Two mobile partition walls separate the room, each of which is connected to one of the push button inputs of the APC. If wall 1 is opened up, the APC switches Groups 2 and 3 to be in the same group (Group 4). If the same happens with wall 2, e.g. for an event, the APC switches over all luminaires in the room to the same group (Group 5).
